Printing Presses are Live!

Hey Saurians,
A quick but exciting update, the printing presses are officially live and have begun printing Claw of Sauria! This is great news as once this step is over, everything else moves pretty quickly. Our manufacturer was kind enough to share a quick video and image of some of the cards being printed and we expect more to come.
As always, when anything new comes our way we will be sure to share it with all of you, stay tuned as we move through the manufacturing process!

Final Production Sample

Hey Saurians,
I apologize for the delay from our last update, we were waiting to receive the final sample which took a while to arrive due to the holidays. But, we got it, and everything looks good! Below are some pictures of a few of the components. The manufacturer did have an issue with the miniature insert, which resulted in us having to make the box a couple of millimeters taller; funny enough, the Odontus Rex miniature was just so large we had to redesign the whole insert! But, hey, the miniature is really cool, so no complaints here. Although this step takes a little time, it's crucial for quality control. We caught a few small issues which have been corrected, so it was worth it.
Now that all of these small issues have been fixed, our manufacturer can pull down the lever and start true mass production. This process moves much faster than you'd think, typically 2-4 weeks. Once that's finished they'll be mailed out to our distributors who will forward them on to you.
We know we're behind schedule, and we do apologize for that. Hopefully, the extra time we have taken to make everything as good as it can be will show. We really appreciate your patience and understanding.
Our next update will likely have some videos from the manufacturer of the mass production process!

Production Set to Begin and Minis!

Hey Saurians,
Our manufacturer has let us know that we are at the front of the line for production and that they will begin creating samples shortly! This step is to ensure that we are satisfied with the final product and to make any last-minute changes if needed. This will take a couple of weeks to produce and get to our door. Once we receive our sample, we'll be sure to take plenty of pictures to share with you. Very exciting stuff!
In other news, our miniature printer has begun working on our minis and creating some mockups to ensure sizing and detail are correct. In our last campaign, we had some issues with minis breaking in the mail; this time around we have adjusted the models to be sturdier, we're using a tougher plastic, and we're shipping with inserts, so we should not have that problem! Below are a few pictures of the miniatures, note that they are all in grey since this is just a sample.

Beginning of Production!

Hey Saurians,
Just wanted to give you an update on how preparation for production has been going. All our art has been submitted to the manufacturer and is in the process of getting set for printing. We've also started the process of producing all the miniatures for the game, this will take a few weeks to a month or so, and we'll post pictures as we get them. I know in the last campaign Max did a good job at showing you behind the scenes as the game is manufactured and I intend to do the same. Once the presses get rolling we'll definitely share with all of you!
Since things are about to start ramping up, we are giving a last call for anyone who has not finalized their order on Backerkit, please do so! We will be finalizing our quantities by the end of the week (10/6). If you plan on making any changes please do so now as we will not be referencing Backerkit after we finalize our quantities to avoid confusion with our manufacturer. We will also not be charging any cards or accepting any new orders, so this Friday is the cutoff!
We realize we are running a bit behind schedule, we always try to be conservative with our time estimates but the unexpected does seem to happen quite a bit during this part of production. This time around we had a family emergency (everyone is fine thankfully) and now our manufacturer is running a bit slow due to a couple of huge orders ahead of us. They let me know we are coming up in the queue though and to expect things to ramp up very soon (they estimated mid-October, so soon!). As always we thank you for your patience and your enthusiasm as we finish the creation of another exciting chapter for Sauria!

Community Voted Hybrid Complete + Production to begin soon

Hey Saurians,
Between your votes and our artist, the Community Voted Hybrid is complete. See the Odontus Rex pictured below. This means all of the game's art and assets are finished! We're going to have a meeting with our manufacturer today to finalize everything and then we can begin the production process!
In other news, our Park Owners are creating their hybrids right now, we are even developing a new Herbivore mechanic to accommodate one of their hybrids! Fortunately, this won't hold up production since they are custom boards for individual boxes, but what it does mean is that we'll have some cool art to share while we're waiting for the game to finish being produced!
